Hanna Hager

Hanna Hager (born August 15, 1916 in Enns ; † February 20, 1997 in Sankt Peter am Wimberg ) was an Upper Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and economic director. From 1970 to 1975 Hager was a member of the National Council and from 1961 to 1970 a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag .

Life

Hager attended elementary and secondary school and learned to be a nurse. She worked in Wels from 1945 to 1949 and from 1949 was economic manager at the Bad Schallabach health resort. Hager was a councilor in Bad Schallabach from 1955 to 1967 and was a member of the Enns council from 1967. Between November 16, 1961 and May 20, 1970 she was a member of the state parliament, after which she was a member of the National Council from March 31, 1970 to November 4, 1975. In addition, from 1967 she was regional chairwoman of the socialist women in Upper Austria.

Hager lost her husband in World War II. She initially lived in Bad Schallerbach and later moved to Enns.
