List of members of the Upper Austrian Landtag (second electoral period)
This list of the members of the Upper Austrian Landtag (second electoral period) lists all the members of the Upper Austrian Landtag in the second electoral period. The electoral term lasted from February 18, 1867 to November 3, 1869 and was dominated by a majority of the Liberal Party. The state government was formed by the Lebschy II state committee and the Eigner I state committee.
structure
The Upper Austrian parliament was the second term of 49 elected members and the Virilstimme of the diocesan bishop . In addition to the virile vote, the Curia of the Great Lands gave 10 members. The cities and industrial locations elected a total of 17 MPs in 15 constituencies, with three MPs being elected in the state capital Linz. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry provided three members in the state parliament, and 19 members from the rural communities in 12 constituencies came. With the exception of the constituencies of Linz, Grein, Freistadt, Gmunden and Kirchdorf, two members each were delegated from the rural communities. While the liberals dominated the curia of the cities, the curia of the Chamber of Commerce and the entire curia of the large estates, the majority of the representatives of the curia of the rural communities came from the camp of the Catholic-Conservatives. In the state election in 1867, however, no parties in the narrower sense existed. Although they had formed immediately after the law on associations was passed in 1867, they initially acted as "associations" and were no longer able to decisively influence the state elections in 1867. Rather, the members of parliament were nominated through “round tables”.
