Anton Wieninger

Anton Wieninger (born November 25, 1813 in Mattighofen ; † October 7, 1880 ibid) was an Austrian beer brewer and liberal politician.

Wieninger's father Johann Georg Wieninger (1774–1833) was an immigrant from the Lower Bavarian town of Grattersdorf .

In 1860 Anton Wieninger was elected mayor of Mattighofen. He was a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament , from 1870 in the Braunau district school council, and through the election of the House of Representatives on April 10, 1861, an Austrian Reichsrat from the group of rural communities. In 1876 he bought the Krumpendorf Castle Estate in Carinthia.
