Hermione Kubanek
Hermine Kubanek (born February 1, 1917 in St. Ulrich bei Steyr , Upper Austria ; † October 17, 2001 in Steyr , Upper Austria) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ).
Life
Hermine Kubanek was a simple housewife after attending compulsory school . After the Second World War she was one of the co-founders of the Austrian Federation of Trade Unions (ÖGB). From 1946 to 1950 she was an employee in the district management in Steyr.
1954 to 1955 Kubanek was a member of the SPÖ to the Upper Austrian state parliament . In November 1967 she was sworn in as a member of the Federal Council in Vienna . Kubanek was a member of the provincial chamber until October 1979.
