Franz Nimmervoll

Franz Nimmervoll (born May 24, 1909 in Zwettl an der Rodl , † July 29, 1992 in Linz ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ).

After primary school, Nimmervoll attended the agricultural school in Schlägl from 1931 to 1933 and the Oranienburg milking school in 1939. After completing his training, he worked as a dairy worker in various farms. Nimmervoll also worked as a milking instructor from 1940 to 1947. In 1947 he started teaching at the agricultural school in Katsdorf , where he later became prefect. From 1926 to 1938 he was a member of the Reich Association of German Catholic Youth and the Catholic People's Association .

Nimmervoll became a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag in 1949 and remained so until 1953. In 1949 he was appointed President of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Labor . In 1955 he became federal chairman of the agricultural and forest workers' union. Franz Nimmervoll was a member of the National Council for the ÖVP from 1953 to 1970 .
