Pingqiao

Pingqiao ( Chinese 平桥区 , Pinyin Píngqiáo Qū ) is a municipality in the prefecture -level city of Xinyang in the Chinese province of Henan . It has an area of 1,889 km² and has approx. 760,000 inhabitants (2002).

Administrative structure

At the community level, Pingqiao consists of ten street districts , five large municipalities , nine municipalities , two landscape protection areas, an industrial park, an industrial administration zone, a village reform and development zone and an archaeological reserve. These are:
