history
After the state elections on October 13, 2019 , 17 of the 36 mandates went to the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), which thus won one mandate. The Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) was able to unite four mandates, whereby it also won one mandate compared to the state elections in 2014 . The Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) lost four seats. The Greens - The Green Alternative (GRÜNE) won a mandate, as did NEOS - The New Austria and Liberal Forum (NEOS), which with three mandates now also achieved club status and thus club promotion.
The constituent session of the state parliament with the election and inauguration of the state government Wallner III took place on November 6, 2019. A total of 17 of the 36 MPs moved into the state parliament. On October 30, 2019, the two state councilors Karlheinz Rüdisser and Christian Bernhard as well as 16 outgoing MPs were passed by the state parliament. The meeting for the swearing-in of substitutes is scheduled for 20 November of 2019.
