The Osterhorn is 1748 m above sea level. A. high summit of the Salzkammergut mountains in Austria . Although it is only the third highest named summit of the Osterhorn group , it still bears his name. The Osterhorn is located in the municipal areas of Strobl and Abtenau , with the summit cross exactly on the border line. From here there are worthwhile views of Lake Wolfgang , the Postalm , the Dead Mountains , the Dachstein and the Schafberg .
