Susanne Andexlinger

Susanne Andexlinger (born January 7, 1963 ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and doctor . Andexlinger ran for her party in the state elections in Vorarlberg 2019 on the third list place in the constituency of Dornbirn and was subsequently elected to the Vorarlberg state parliament. She has been a member of the state parliament for the 31st legislative period since November 6, 2019 .

Career

Susanne Andexlinger first attended the Bundesgymnasium Dornbirn , where she graduated from high school in 1981, and then studied medicine at the University of Innsbruck . She is currently working as a general practitioner with her own practice in Dornbirn . In addition, she completed the studies in Health Service Management at Danube University Krems and Public Health at the University of Bern , each of which she completed with the academic degrees Master of Advanced Studies and Master of Business Administration .

Andexlinger, who lives in Lustenau herself , began her political career there. She is currently a member of the Lustenauer of Representatives as well as for the local council elections in 2005 a member of the Lustenauer Municipal Board . She is a councilor for social affairs, health, senior citizens, care and nursing as well as housing affairs on the community board.

In the 2019 state elections in Vorarlberg , Susanne Andexlinger stood for third place in the Vorarlberg People's Party in the Dornbirn constituency and was elected to the Vorarlberg state parliament on a basic basis. The swearing-in as a member of the state parliament for the 31st legislative period took place in the constituent state parliament session on November 6, 2019.
