Hubert F. Kinz (born October 6, 1960 in Bregenz ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ) and lawyer. Kinz has been a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament since 2009 .

Kinz works as a lawyer, hotelier, landlord and manager of the community goods store at Leutbühel (GWL). He lives in the Vorarlberg state capital Bregenz, is married and has three children.

education and profession

Hubert F. Kinz graduated from elementary school (1967–1971) and the Bundesgymnasium Blumenstrasse (1971–1979) in Bregenz. At the same time, he attended the Bregenz Music Conservatory for piano lessons from 1976 to 1979. From 1979, studied Kinz subsequently law at the University of Innsbruck , where he in 1983 doctorate (PhD) for Doctor of Law gained. During his studies he was a student assistant at the Law Faculty of the University of Innsbruck from 1981. After completing his studies, Kinz completed the court year at the Innsbruck Higher Regional Court, the Feldkirch Regional Court and the Bregenz District Court.

In 1984 he joined his father's law firm, Hubert Kinz, with whom he ran a joint law firm from November 2, 1988. After his father left in 2001, Hubert F. Kinz ran the Bregenz law firm alone. Since 2000 he has been teaching law (or office organization) as a part-time teacher at the Dornbirn II state vocational school.

Political career

Politically, Kinz has been active in the Freedom Youth Ring since 1976 and in the Freedom Economy since 1990 . In the Vorarlberg Chamber of Commerce, he was the branch representative of the cable car industry in the economic parliament, deputy chairman of the tourism and leisure sector, branch representative in the tourism and leisure sector conference and committee member in the hotel industry. From 2002 to 2009 he was a board member of the Main Association of Austrian Social Insurance Institutions. He is a committee member in the Federal Chamber of the Hotel Industry and spokesman for the private sector. Since 1990 he has been a member or substitute member of the Bregenz city council.

After the state election in 2009 , Hubert F. Kinz was sworn in for the first time as a member of the FPÖ in the Vorarlberg state parliament on October 14, 2009.

Both the father and grandfather of Hubert F. Kinz, Ferdinand Kinz , were politically active.
