Nadine Kasper

Nadine Kasper (born September 9, 1980 in Schruns ) is an Austrian politician ( GREEN ). Kasper ran in the state elections in Vorarlberg 2019 in fourth place in the state election proposal of the Vorarlberg Greens and was thus elected to the Vorarlberg state parliament. She was sworn in as a member of the state parliament in the constituent session of the state parliament of the 31st legislative period on November 6, 2019.

Career

Nadine Kasper was born in Schruns in the Vorarlberg Montafon . She attended the college for economic professions in Rankweil , where she graduated from high school in 2000 . From 2001 to 2006 she studied communication sciences with a focus on marketing and public relations at the University of Salzburg (diploma thesis on the subject of the foreign in cultural theory. Political career

Nadine Kasper became politically active for the first time in the state elections in Vorarlberg in 2014 , when she ran for third place on the district list of the Greens in the Bludenz constituency . Although she was not elected to the state parliament in this election, she was subsequently presented as the top candidate of the Greens in her home municipality Vandans in the context of the municipal council election 2015 , in which she was running against the previously ruling unified list of Mayor Burkhart Wachter. Since then, Kasper has been active in Vandans as the Green Party Leader in the Vandans municipal council. In January 2017 she became a member of the state board of the Greens Vorarlberg.

In the run-up to the state elections in Vorarlberg in 2019 , Nadine Kasper was re-elected to third place in the Bludenz constituency and at the same time placed fourth on the green state list. With a mandate from the Greens on the state list, Kasper finally succeeded in entering the state parliament. The swearing-in as a member of the state parliament for the 31st legislative period took place on November 6, 2019.

In terms of content, she is responsible for the areas of family, animal welfare, tourism and health in the Green Parliamentary Club.

Private life

Nadine Kasper is married and has three children. She lives in Vandans with her family .
