Robert Nickisch (born November 22, 1982 in Weimar ) is a German actor .

Life

Nickisch grew up in Nordhausen in the southern Harz with his paternal grandparents. He was a Thuringian youth boxing champion and since childhood football player at Nobas Nordhausen and Wacker 90 Nordhausen . At the same time he drove motocross races for Heck Motorsport . He was a founding member of the first breakdance group after reunification in the Harz region. At a dance competition at the Nordhausen Theater , he met the director Uta Plate. According to his own statements, this was his first formative contact with the art of acting. After a serious accident at the age of 17, he had to learn to walk again and with a heavy heart gave up his sports career.

He moved to Berlin , where after three abandoned apprenticeships, as a bricklayer , cook and carpenter , he met Uta Plate again. She brought him to the youth theater at the Schaubühne on Lehniner Platz . Shortly afterwards he played with Daniel Schrader, who made his directorial debut at the ( p14 ) Volksbühne on Rosa Luxemburg Platz on the 3rd floor. This was followed by a two-year theater engagement at the Kunstpalast Berlin . Since 2014 roles in film , television and radio have emerged . Robert Nickisch lives with the photographer Sophie Schwarz on a farm in Brandenburg , they have a daughter.
