Live and act

Steve Mayr was born on January 18, 1983. After completing compulsory schools, he first completed an apprenticeship as a system electrician and, in addition to his work, also passed the vocational maturity test . After completing his vocational school leaving certificate, Mayr started working as an independent insurance salesman. He is married and has one son.

Steve Mayr has been politically active since 2005, when, at the age of 22, he was elected to the local council of his home parish in Fraxern for the first time. Joining the boys People's Party took place in 2006. After the local council elections in 2010 Steve Mayr was also a member of the municipal executive board of Fraxern. Five years later, after the municipal council election in 2015 , Steve Mayr was elected mayor of Fraxern on March 26, 2015 as the successor to Reinhard Nachbaur by the municipal council.

In the state elections in Vorarlberg 2014 , Steve Mayr ran for seventh place on the list of the Vorarlberg People's Party in the Feldkirch electoral district . The People's Party finally achieved four basic mandates in the Feldkirch electoral district, which - after being replaced - initially only narrowly missed entry into the state parliament. On December 13, 2017, his party colleague Gabriele Nussbaumer announced that she wanted to resign from her mandate. The People's Party then declared that Steve Mayr would succeed her in the electoral district of Feldkirch, which is why he was sworn in as a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament in the state parliament session on January 31, 2018.
