Clemens Ender

Clemens Ender (born September 10, 1971 in Bregenz ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and lawyer . Ender has been a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament since November 20, 2019 and has been the vice-mayor of the market town of Götzis since 2010 .

education and profession

Clemens Ender was born in the Vorarlberg state capital Bregenz and grew up in the market town of Götzis . There he attended elementary school from 1976 to 1980 and then from 1980 to 1989 the Realgymnasium Feldkirch . In September 1989, Clemens Ender began the study of law at the University of Innsbruck , which he with a bank- or corporate law thesis on the subject in January 1995 , "introduction of banking business into a corporation pursuant to §§ 8a KWG and 92 BWG" as Magister iuris ( Mag. iur.) completed. During his studies he was a member of the Catholic student association KÖHV Leopoldina Innsbruck . From March 1996, Clemens Ender worked as a trainee lawyer in the law firm Giesinger & Giesinger in Feldkirch . In 1999 he completed his doctorate in law at the University of Innsbruck with a thesis on "The audio recording - means of protecting the individual right goods" , and became a doctor of law doctorate . After passing the bar exam, Ender has been registered as a lawyer at the Vorarlberg Bar Association since June 1, 2000 . Since June 27, 2000 he has been a partner and partner in the Feldkirch law firm Giesinger, Ender, Eberle & Partner, Rechtsanwälte .

Political career

Ender is a member of the Austrian Economic Association , a sub-organization of the Austrian People's Party , and a member of the Vorarlberg People's Party . He has been involved in community politics since 1997 and accepted his first political mandate in 2000 when he was elected to the community council in his home community Götzis . From May 2005, Clemens Ender was a councilor on the Götzner municipal board. After the municipal council election in 2010 , he was elected vice mayor of the market town of Götzis. Even after the municipal council election in 2015 , Ender was confirmed in this office.

In the Vorarlberg state election on October 13, 2019 , Clemens Ender ran for the Vorarlberg People's Party in the Feldkirch electoral district in sixth place on the list. In the election, Ender was able to improve to fifth place thanks to a good preferential vote result (2,186 preferential votes) and thus became one of two successor candidates of the People's Party in the Feldkirch electoral district. After Markus Wallner resigned his mandate after he was re-elected governor, he was sworn in as a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament on November 20, 2019 .

Private life

Clemens Ender is married and has four children. He lives with his family in Götzis . Clemens Ender is a founding member of the Lions Club Rheintal-amKumma on a voluntary basis .
