Gabriele Graf (politician)

Gabriele Graf (born December 6, 1968 in Carinthia ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). She has been a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament since November 2019 .

Life

After graduating from a commercial academy, Gabriele Graf moved to Vorarlberg in 1988. From 2008 to 2010 she studied systemic process management at the University of Graz . She has lived in the Tisis district of Feldkirch since 1997 . Since December 1991 she has worked as a social and education manager in the directorate of the Chamber for Workers and Salaried Employees in Vorarlberg. There she was responsible for corporate health promotion and generation management. She was involved there, for example, as a member of the general assembly for city marketing and tourism in Feldkirch and as a member of the board of trustees of the Feldkirch district libraries. With the city council vote on May 12, 2015, Gabriele Graf is the mayor of Tisis.

In the regional elections in Vorarlberg in 2019 , she was elected fourth in the candidate list of the Feldkirch electoral district of the Vorarlberg People's Party in the internal election in Rankweil . Gabriele Graf was sworn in as a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament on November 20, 2019 after Barbara Schöbi-Fink resigned her mandate after she was elected as the new governor . In the ÖVP state parliament club she acts as the area spokesperson for women and equality as well as consumer protection.
