List of members of the Vorarlberg state parliament (XIVth legislative period)
This list of the members of the Vorarlberg Landtag (XIVth legislative period) lists all the members of the Vorarlberg Landtag during the XIVth legislative period. The Landtag officiated in the XV. Legislative period from November 22, 1932 until the state parliament was dissolved in 1934.
Of the 26 MPs, the Christian Social Party (CSP) had 18 MPs after the 1932 state elections . 4 belonged to the Social Democratic Workers 'Party of German Austria (SDAPDÖ), 2 to the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP) and one member each to the Landbund (LB) and the Greater German People's Party (GDVP).
In 1933, the members of the NSDAP forfeited their mandates due to the ban on their party on June 19, 1933 (Federal Law Gazette 1933, No. 240), whereby Rudolf Gunz anticipated the loss of his mandate by resigning from the NSDAP. In the course of the February fights in 1934 , on February 12, 1934, the Austrian Social Democratic Workers' Party was also banned by a regulation of the federal government (Federal Law Gazette No. 78), which also meant that the mandates of the Vorarlberg MPs of the SDAP expired.
Functions
Chairwoman of the state parliament
In the election for the Vorarlberg state president on November 22, 1932, 26 votes were cast, Otto Ender (CSP) received 17 votes and Ferdinand Redler (CSP) received one vote . Eight ballot papers were left blank. In the election of the two vice-presidents, which was carried out in one ballot, Ferdinand Redler and Adolf Vögel (CSP) were each able to unite 18 votes. One vote was given to Johann Josef Mittelberger and one to Josef Schmidt (CSP). Again eight ballot papers were left blank.
