Albert Welte

Albert Welte (born February 10, 1875 in Frastanz ; † October 12, 1955 there ) was an Austrian politician ( CS , ÖVP ). Welte was a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament from 1909 to 1914 and from 1918 to 1934 .

Albert Welte was born on February 10, 1875 as the son of the cooper , sticker and innkeeper Franz Josef Welte and his wife Agatha in the Vorarlberg community of Frastanz. Professionally, the single and childless Albert Welte worked as a consumer administrator. In 1909 Welte became a member of the Frastanzer municipal council as well as a member of the general electoral class Feldkirch-Dornbirn in the Vorarlberg state parliament . He remained a community representative until 1938, a member of the state parliament until 1914. On November 3, 1918, Welte became a member of the provisional Vorarlberg state assembly and then from 1919 again a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament. Welte exercised his state parliament mandate for the Christian Social Party in the Feldkirch constituency until November 13, 1934. From July 17th until he left the state parliament he was the second vice-president of the state parliament. In addition, from 1919 to 1923 he was a substitute member of the Vorarlberg regional government for the regional councilor Josef Kennerknecht .

From 1924 to 1938 and after the war from 1945 to 1947 Albert Welte was in his home town of Frastanz community leaders .
