Ludwig Hinteregger

Ludwig Hinteregger (born October 5, 1892 in Wolfurt , † October 31, 1973 ibid) was an Austrian politician ( CSP ), farmer and community leader. From 1932 to 1938 he was a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament .

education and profession

Ludwig Hinteregger attended elementary school in his home town of Wolfurt between 1898 and 1906. He then worked in the embroidery trade from 1906 to 1913 and from 1913 did his military service with the 2nd regiment of the Tyrolean Kaiserjäger . During the First World War he was in the military between 1914 and 1919, where he received several awards for bravery and wounded. After his return from the war, he ran his parents' farm between 1919 and 1924. During the Second World War, Hinteregger was employed as an accountant for the Rädler company from 1938 to 1945, and from 1949 he was again employed in this profession for the Rädler company.

Politics and functions

Hinteregger was a member of the Christian Social Party and was involved in local politics for a long time. He was elected to the Wolfurt City Council in 1919 and was a member of it until 1924. He was then from 1924 until the National Socialists came to power in 1938 as community leader in Wolfurt. He stood for the Christian Social Party in the Vorarlberg state elections in 1932 and was subsequently sworn in as a member of the Bregenz constituency on November 22, 1932. He was a member of the regular state parliament until it was dissolved on November 13, 1934 and was appointed to the state parliament by the Vorarlberg governor in 1934 as a representative of the agricultural and forestry profession. Hinteregger was a member of the state parliament from November 14, 1934 until the annexation of Austria on March 12, 1938. After the end of the Second World War, Hinteregger was again the community leader in Wolfurt between 1945 and 1950, after which he was again a member of the local council from 1950 to 1955.

Private

Ludwig Hinteregger was born as the son of the Wolfurt farmer Andreas Hinteregger and his wife Anna Maria Dür from Bildstein . He married his wife Rosa Fischer (1897–1974) in Wolfurt in 1922 and was subsequently the father of three daughters and three sons between 1925 and 1933.
