history
After the state elections in Tyrol in 2018, seventeen of the 36 mandates went to the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), six to the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ), five to the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ), four to the Greens Tyrol (Greens) and two on the list Fritz Dinkhauser - Bürgerforum Tirol (FRITZ). NEOS ran for the first time in Tyrol and made it into the state parliament with two members. ÖVP, SPÖ and FPÖ each won one mandate, the Greens lost one. Vorwärts Tirol (VT) was no longer running, in the previous XVI. During the legislative period , the party was represented with four seats.
The constituent meeting of the Tyrolean state parliament with the election and inauguration of the state government Platter III took place on March 28, 2018.
With the exception of Provincial Councilor Bernhard Tilg , all members of the government were initially sworn in as normal MPs. After the election of the state government, Hermann Kuenz , Josef Edenhauser , Stefan Weirather , Martina Nowara and Sophia Kircher took up positions in the ÖVP . In the Greens, Michael Mingler and Stephanie Jicha moved up for the two state councilors.

Landtag President

- Stephanie Jicha was nominated by the Tyrolean Greens as the successor to the second Vice President of the State Parliament, Hermann Weratschnig , and Georg Dornauer was proposed for this function by the SPÖ Tyrol . Stephanie Jicha was elected second Vice President of the State Parliament with 23 of 36 votes, Georg Dornauer received 13 votes.
Club chairmen
- Jakob Wolf remained club chairman of the ÖVP .
- The SPÖ club chairwoman was initially Elisabeth Blanik . On April 28, 2019, Dornauer Georg was elected her successor from May 1, 2019.
- As club chairman of the Tyrolean countryside was Gebi Mair confirmed his deputy was Georg Kaltschmid .
Federal Councilors
The Greens lost a Federal Council mandate and thus their club status and club funding in parliament. The mandate of the Greens went to the FPÖ, the ÖVP has three seats as before, the SPÖ one. The previous Federal Councilor Sonja Ledl-Rossmann (ÖVP) moved to the state parliament. The ÖVP sent Peter Raggl , Elisabeth Pfurtscheller and Klara Neurauter to the regional chamber, the SPÖ Stefan Zaggl and the FPÖ Christoph Steiner . Anneliese Junker , Andreas Köll , Hans-Peter Bock and Nicole Schreyer left the Federal Council.
