from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This list of members of the Tyrolean state parliament (8th legislative period) lists all the members of the Tyrolean state parliament in the eighth legislative period from July 1, 1975 to October 23, 1979. After the state elections in 1975 , the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) provided 24 of the 36 members of the parliament, and gained one seat compared to the 1965 state elections . The second largest parliamentary group in the state parliament was the Socialist Party of Austria (SPÖ), which had eleven members and had lost one mandate compared to the previous period. In addition, as in the previous period, a member of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) belonged to the state parliament.

After the deputies were sworn in on July 1, 1975, the members of the state parliament elected the members of the Wallnöfer IV state government on the same day . The legislative period ended with the inauguration of the members of the IX. Legislative session on October 23, 1979.

Functions

Landtag President

In the constituent meeting, Alois Lugger (ÖVP), President of the Landtag, was re-elected with 31 out of 36 votes, with Karl Erlacher having two votes and three ballot papers remaining blank. Adolf Troppmair (ÖVP), who had previously been 2nd Vice- President, became the new 1st Vice President after the claim to the 1st Vice President had moved from the SPÖ to the ÖVP after just one period after the 1975 state election . He received 33 out of 36 votes in his election, with three ballot papers remaining blank. Completely new in office, however, was Adolf Lettenbichler (SPÖ), who moved into the Landtag Presidium for the first time and received 28 out of 36 votes when he was elected 2nd Vice President. Three MPs voted for Karl Hackl , one MP voted for Johann Entholzer , two ballot papers were marked with “No” and one ballot paper was left blank.

Club stewards

After the deputies were sworn in, the members of the ÖVP formed the ÖVP state parliament club. The state parliament members of the SPÖ formed the "Club of Socialist Members of the Tyrolean Parliament" and elected Karl Hackl as their chairman and Adolf Lettenbichler as his deputy. Hermann Eigenler , the only member of the FPÖ, formed the "Freedom State Parliament Club" and was also its chairman.
