After the dissolution of Austria-Hungary began in October 1918, provisional state parliaments were constituted in the countries of the remaining " German Austria ". The Tyrolean National Council met in Tyrol as early as October 1918, and it existed until the provisional state assembly was constituted and met between October 26th and December 16th, 1918. The Tyrolean National Council was formed from the “German-Tyrolean” state parliament and Reichsrat members who met on October 26, 1918 and elected Governor Josef Schraffl as its chairman and Wilhelm Greil and Josef Wackernell as his deputies. In the meeting on November 1, 1918, the final composition of the Tyrolean National Council was finally decided.
