from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This list of members of the Tyrolean state parliament (5th legislative period) lists all the members of the Tyrolean state parliament in the fifth legislative period from November 7, 1961 to November 2, 1965. After the state elections in 1961 , the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) had 23 members, as in the previous period. Furthermore, the Socialist Party of Austria (SPÖ) with eleven members and the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) with two mandataries were represented in the state parliament with unchanged strength .

After the deputies were sworn in on November 7, 1961, the members of the state parliament elected the members of the Tschiggfrey II state government , which was succeeded by the Wallnöfer I state government on July 13, 1963 . The legislative period ended with the inauguration of the deputies of the VI. Legislative period on November 2, 1965.

Functions

Landtag President

In the constituent meeting, the ÖVP politician Johann Obermoser was re-elected President of the State Parliament , who received 35 of 36 votes (another was cast empty). Also re-elected was 1st Vice President Karl Erlacher (ÖVP), who was able to unite 33 of 36 votes, with three ballot papers remaining blank. Josef Rimml (SPÖ) was elected as the new 2nd Vice President , who was able to achieve the same election result as Erlacher.

Club stewards

After the deputies were sworn in, the members of the ÖVP formed the ÖVP state parliament club, with Johann Obermoser re-elected as club chairman and Alois Lugger as his deputy. As an additional deputy from Obermoser, the deputy Robert Lackner was added in the fifth legislative period . The SPÖ members of the state parliament elected Anton Wieser as club chairman, his deputy was Christian Horngacher . Due to the small number of seats, the two MPs of the FPÖ could not form a club and therefore did not have a club chairman.
