Hans Jungwirth

Hans Jungwirth (born February 17, 1922 in Kaltenbach im Zillertal ; † January 13, 1993 in Natters ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and tax official. From 1962 to 1975 he was a member of the National Council .

After attending elementary school and high school, Jungwirth embarked on the career of a tax officer. He was also involved from 1956 as Vice Mayor of the Pfaffenhofen community and from 1966 held the office of mayor there. He also represented the SPÖ in the Tyrolean state parliament from 1958 to 1962 and was then a member of the National Council from December 14, 1962 to November 4, 1975. Within the party, Jungwirth was also involved as district party chairman of the SPÖ Innsbruck Land .
