Alois Partl (born January 13, 1929 in Afling near Kematen in Tyrol ) is an Austrian politician . He was Tyrolean governor and state party chairman of the Tyrolean People's Party .

Life

Partl worked on his parents' farm until he was 19 and attended elementary school in Kematen for eight years, then the Rotholz Agricultural College and the Higher Federal College for Alpine Agriculture, which was then located in Seefeld , where he passed his school-leaving examination in 1951. Partl then studied at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences , Agriculture Department, and completed his studies in 1955 with a graduation as a graduate engineer and obtained his doctorate in Natural Resources and Life Sciences in 1956. Partl is a member of the ÖCV connection K.Ö.HV Amelungia Vienna and an honorary member of two other ÖCV and four MKV connections.

During and immediately afterwards, Alois Partl completed two years of practical experience and study visits to Switzerland, Germany, Sweden and the USA. In 1957 he joined the presidential conference of the Austrian Chambers of Agriculture in Vienna as a consultant for questions of economic and trade policy and devoted himself eight years to the interests of Austrian agriculture within the framework of international economic cooperation.

In 1965 Partl returned to Tyrol, where he took on the role of deputy chamber director and one year later was promoted to chamber director of the Tyrol Chamber of Agriculture. From 1970 Partl was also chairman of the Raiffeisenzentralkasse. In 1970, Governor Eduard Wallnöfer brought Partl into the Tyrolean provincial government, where he was the municipal minister from November 3rd. The areas of agriculture, forestry and environmental protection were also assigned to this.

In 1974, during his 16-year career, Partl introduced the landscape service, which created, among other things, cycle paths, hiking trails, forest miles and educational forest trails. Partl was also responsible for keeping the water clean, the district hospitals and the protection of the forests and the soil. In 1977 Partl was elected district chairman of the ÖVP Innsbruck-Land. In 1982 he became deputy VP country chairman. After being elected VP regional chairman in 1987, he also took over the office of regional governor from Wallnöfer in the same year, which he held until 1993.

Partl has been married since 1959 and has two sons (* 1960 and 1962) and a daughter (* 1964). He lives in Lans . In 2010 Partl attracted a lot of media attention because, in the course of an accident, he assumed that he had been overlooked by numerous passers-by in a garage for six hours and left there. The Innsbruck public prosecutor's office investigated failure to provide assistance ; the proceedings were discontinued due to inconsistencies.

On the occasion of his 90th birthday on January 11, 2019, the Tyrolean state government invited to a customary reception in his home town of Lans. LH Günther Platter had invited to the celebrations , who warmly congratulated Alois Partl on behalf of the Tyrolean provincial government and thanked him for his commitment to the state of Tyrol: “Above all, Alois Partl's services to the European region, the modernization of agriculture and greening our country cannot be valued highly enough. In addition, during his tenure, Alois Partl attached particular importance to promoting the coexistence of people in our country, supporting Tyrolean families and strengthening solidarity.
