Beate Palfrader (born August 11, 1958 in Schwaz ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and since 2008 regional councilor in the regional governments of Platter I , Platter II and Platter III . Beate Palfrader is the mother of two daughters and lives in Hopfgarten im Brixental .

Life

education

After graduating from high school in 1976 in Kufstein, Beate Palfrader studied interpreting for one year in French and Spanish. She then began her law studies at the University of Innsbruck , which she completed with a PhD. jur. graduated in 1982. In addition to his job, he did an educational training and in 2001 a master’s degree.

Professional background

After the court year at the Innsbruck Regional and District Court, Beate Palfrader was an assistant and lecturer at the Institute for Public Law at the University of Innsbruck from 1983 to 1986. From 1987 to 2004 she taught political education, law and economics at the commercial academy and commercial school in Wörgl and at the higher federal college in St. Johann. This teaching obligation was interrupted from 2000 to 2001 when she worked at the Federal Ministry of the Interior in Vienna. From 2004 she took over the management of the St. Johann in Tirol tourism school as director.

On May 24, 2013, Beate Palfrader was elected to the Tyrolean state government again by the Tyrolean state parliament. As a regional councilor, her areas of responsibility include:

  • General compulsory schools and associated student homes; Vocational compulsory schools and vocational schools with the exception of those in the agricultural and forestry sector; Personnel matters for teachers at general and vocational compulsory schools; organizational matters of the school authorities; Center for Hearing and Language Education including the Mils Special School; State special school Kramsach including boarding school; Day nurseries; Kindergarten and after-school care, including professional law in this area; Help with upbringing and schooling according to the Tyrolean Rehabilitation Act; Scholarship matters;
  • Protection of minors; extracurricular youth education, insofar as it does not belong to youth welfare; Affairs of youth, family and senior citizens policy;
  • cultural affairs; Promotion of art and science; Monument protection;
  • Music schools and Tyrolean State Conservatory (including personnel matters); Religious matters; Adult education (with the exception of vocational adult education); Archives of the country; Libraries; Tyrolean educational institute; Participation of the state in the Tiroler Landesmuseen-Betriebsgesellschaft mbH, the Tiroler Landestheater und Orchester GmbH Innsbruck, the Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik GmbH and the Tiroler Festspiele Erl Betriebsgesellschaft mbH.
