Cornelia Hagele

Cornelia Elisabeth Hagele (born January 14, 1975 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian politician of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). She was sworn in as a member of the Tyrolean state parliament on March 28, 2018 .

Life

After completing compulsory school, Cornelia Hagele attended HBLA West ( Höhere Bundeslehranstalt ) in Innsbruck , where she graduated in 1994 . She then began studying law and business administration at the University of Innsbruck , completing her studies in 2000 with a master's thesis on mergers and divisions within the restructuring tax law from a business, legal and tax point of view . 2002 doctorate it to the doctor of jurisprudence (Dr.in iur.) With a dissertation on procedural errors as a violation of fundamental rights: prospects of fundamental rights complaints to the Supreme Court . In 1998 she completed a semester abroad at the University of New South Wales .

After completing her studies, she worked for Hofer KG from 2002 to 2008 , among other things as authorized signatory , deputy managing director and country coordinator . Since 2008 she has been the office manager of the Hagele law firm. Since 2016 she has also been managing director of the market town of Telfs Immobilien GmbH .

Cornelia Hagele has been a member of the local council of Telfs for the ÖVP-affiliated citizen list Wir für Telfs , where she has been Deputy Mayor since 2016 . Since 2015 she has also been the district chairwoman of women in the economy of the Wirtschaftsbund in the Innsbruck-Land district . On March 28, 2018, she was in the constituent state parliament session of the XVII. Legislative period as a member of the Tyrolean Landtag, where she belongs to the Committee on Agriculture and Forestry, Environment and Sustainability, the Committee on Economics, Tourism, Energy and Technology and the Committee on Housing and Transport.

At the state parliament of women in the Tyrolean People's Party in January 2019, she was elected deputy state director. In April 2019 she succeeded Anneliese Junker as district chairwoman of the Innsbruck-Land Economic Association.
