Georg Kaltschmid (politician)

Georg Alois Kaltschmid (born March 12, 1980 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian politician of the Greens . He was sworn in as a member of the Tyrolean state parliament on March 28, 2018 .

Life

After primary school in Walchsee and the Kufstein high school, Georg Kaltschmid attended the Villa Blanka tourism school , where he graduated in 1999 . He then worked in various tourism companies, in 2001 he began studying psychology at the University of Innsbruck , in 2004 he completed the first phase of his studies and took over his parents' business, the Gasthof Walchseerhof, which he converted into the four-star Hotel Walchseer Hof in 2009 .

From 2010 to 2012 he was a member of the supervisory board of the Kaiserwinkl tourism association , where he has been a member of the executive board since 2012. Since 2015 he has been a functionary of the Chamber of Commerce for the Green Economy in the Kufstein district . On March 28, 2018 he was in the constituent state parliament session of the XVII. Legislative period as a member of the Tyrolean state parliament. He was elected deputy chairman of the club by the Tyrolean Greens .
