Dominik Mainusch

Dominik Mainusch (born February 27, 1991 in Schwaz ) is an Austrian politician of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). He has been mayor of Fügen in the Zillertal since 2016 and a member of the Tyrolean state parliament since March 2018 .

Life

After finishing primary school in Finkenberg, Dominik Mainusch attended the secondary school in Fügen and the commercial academy in Schwaz , where he graduated in 2010 . He then began studying law at the University of Innsbruck , graduating in 2015 with a diploma thesis on the protection of candidates and other parties involved in a works council election as a master's degree. After an internship at the District Court of Schwaz, he completed his community service at the Red Cross Kufstein .

He has been with the Junge ÖVP since 2012 , initially as local chairman in Fügen, since 2013 as district chairman in Schwaz and member of the Tyrolean provincial board and since 2017 as regional chairman. In 2015 he became deputy party chairman in the ÖVP Fügen, and since 2016 he has been a member of the regional executive committee of the Tyrolean People's Party . In the course of the municipal council and mayor elections in Tyrol in 2016 , he was elected mayor of Fügen in the Zillertal with his list Zukunft Fügen - Team Mainusch . On March 28, 2018 he was in the constituent state parliament session of the XVII. Legislative term as Member of the Tyrolean Parliament sworn in , where he served on the committee for Housing and Transport and the Committee on economy, tourism, energy and technology.
