Christoph Steiner (politician)

Christoph Steiner (born December 6, 1988 in Schwaz in Tirol ) is an Austrian politician of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ). Since March 2018 he has been a member of the Federal Council delegated by the Tyrolean state parliament .

Life

After finishing elementary and secondary school in Zell am Ziller, Christoph Steiner attended the polytechnic school there . He then completed from 2005 to 2007 an apprenticeship as a cook and later in 2008 the civil service . From 2009 to 2011 he attended the Dr. Vodder Academy in Walchsee , where he trained as a masseur. Since 2011 he has been working as an independent medical masseur, therapeutic masseur and therapist for alternative healing methods.

He has been active in the FPÖ since 2009, initially until 2015 as the local party chairman of the FPÖ Zell am Ziller , where he has been a member of the local council since 2012 and a member of the local council since 2016. Since 2011 he has also been the FPÖ chairman of the Zillertal valley group . From 2010 to 2013 he acted as regional chairman of the Ring Freedom Youth (RFJ) Tyrol. He has been a member of the district party leadership of the FPÖ in the Schwaz district since 2011, of which he was FPÖ district party chairman from 2015 to 2017 and FPÖ district party chairman since 2017. Since 2013 he has also been a member of the regional party executive of the FPÖ Tirol, and has been the regional party chairman since 2015. In the Chamber of Commerce Tyrol it has 2016 member of the National Guild of Tyrolean masseurs. After the state elections in Tyrol in 2018 , he has been a member of the Federal Council delegated by the Tyrolean state parliament since March 28, 2018 , where he is a member of the committee for agriculture, forestry and water management.
