Claudia Hagsteiner (2018)

Claudia Hagsteiner (born September 1, 1970 in Wörgl ) is an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). She has been a member of the Tyrolean state parliament since March 2018 .

Life

Claudia Hagsteiner attended elementary and secondary school in Kirchbichl in 1984/85 at the higher federal college for economic women's professions in Kufstein . She then completed a commercial apprenticeship. From 1991 to 1997 she was branch manager, from 2006 to 2018 housekeeper, and since 2007 she has been a freelance sports and wellness coach.

In Kirchberg in Tirol she is a member of the municipal council for the list Together for Kirchberg election alliance of the social democrats and party-independent Kirchbergers - SPÖ-PUK . After the state elections in Tyrol in 2018 , she was in the constituent state parliament session of the XVII. Legislative period on March 28, 2018 was as a Member of the Tyrolean Parliament sworn in , where she served on the committee for legal, community and regional planning issues and the Committee on Petitions.

In May 2019 she was elected chairwoman of the SPÖ in the Kitzbühel district. In the 2019 National Council election, she is running in the Unterland regional constituency behind top candidate Christian Kovacevic .
