Christian Makor-Winkelbauer (* Winkelbauer on July 20, 1968 in Salzburg ) is an Upper Austrian social democratic member of the state parliament . He is married and has two sons and lives with his family in Schildorn ( district of Ried im Innkreis ).

After attending elementary and secondary school, he completed the federal upper level high school. From 1990 to 2000 he was press officer for the SPÖ state parliament club in Salzburg. He founded an advertising agency in 2001. The press officer was elected district chairman of the SPÖ Ried in 1996 and has been a member of the Upper Austria since October 31, 1997. Parliament. On January 23, 2014, he was unanimously elected chairman of the SPÖ Landtag Club of Upper Austria and holds this position full-time. The business license for his advertising agency has been suspended since then.

On November 12, 2007, Makor-Winkelbauer stood in his home town of Schildorn , where he has been based since 1992, against a candidate from the ÖVP for mayor's office and was defeated. The incumbent mayor Johann Rachbauer resigned from office for health reasons. It is remarkable that the SPÖ candidate wanted to make his mayor's salary of 2000 euros available to local associations and projects.

Makor-Winkelbauer is active in the following committees: Committee for Housing, Nature and Landscape Protection, Committee on Rules of Procedure (2nd Secretary), Committee on Constitution, Administration, Immunity and Incompatibility, in the Finance Committee (2nd Deputy Chairman), Committee on Education, Youth and Sport (substitute member) and in various mixed committees.
