Georg Ecker (born April 5, 1960 in Wegscheid , Germany ) is an Upper Austrian state parliament member of the ÖVP . The farmer Ecker is the married father of three children.

education

After completing compulsory school, Georg Ecker attended the agricultural college in Schlägl from 1976 to 1978 . In 1978 he passed the skilled worker examination, which was followed in 1981 by the master craftsman examination.

Political career

Georg Ecker was a member of the Chamber Council of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Agriculture from 1997 to 2003. In 1991 he became a local councilor in Kollerschlag , since 1995 he has been vice mayor there and since October 23, 2003 Georg Ecker has held the mandate of a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament.

In August 2018 he was elected as the successor to Reinhold Mitterlehner as ÖVP district party chairman in the Rohrbach district.
