Todd Terry

Todd Terry (born April 18, 1967 ) is a New York DJ, producer and remixer in the field of dance and house. He was particularly successful in the UK in the mid-1990s.

He is known by numerous pseudonyms, such as Swan Lake, Orange Lemon, Royal House, Amy Studt, Black Riot, CLS, Dredd Stock, House of Gypsies, Limelife, Hard House, Tyme Forse, Gypsymen .

Todd Terry is best known as a remixer, he has done remixes for artists like SNAP! , Annie Lennox , George Michael and Björk . Terry's remix of Everything But The Girl's song Missing is also known . The remix of Givin 'You All That I've Got by Robin S. was for the Space Jam used soundtrack. His tracks Something Goin On (received a Silver Record in the UK) and Keep on Jumpin ' were both featured in the UK charts. On the track Keep On Jumpin the voices of the two singers Martha Wash and Jocelyn Brown could be heard, who sang together for the first time.

Terry was also involved in a music project with Barbra Streisand and Gloria Gaynor , where the song "No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)" was created. In 2001 Terry founded the two record labels In House and Sound Design . In addition to Todd's own productions, Sound Design also includes artists such as the Jungle Brothers, David Anthony, Wendy Phillips, Just Us and Ronnie Ventura. In the same year the track "Babarabatiri" was created. The number was praised by the Miami Winter Music Conference and considered the 2001 Ibiza anthem. In 2004, his Track Weekend was used for the video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas , which can be heard on the SF-UR radio station .
