Annemarie Brunner

Annemarie Brunner (born July 9, 1957 in Schwertberg as Annemarie Rockenschaub ; † March 28, 2020 in Ried in der Riedmark ) was an Austrian farmer and politician . From 2003 to January 2020 she was a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag .

Life

After attending primary and secondary school in Schwertberg, Brunner graduated from the commercial school in Perg . She was widowed and lived in Ried in the Riedmark . Shortly after resigning from parliament in January 2020, she suffered a stroke , of which she died on March 28, 2020. Her adult son died in an industrial accident on March 9, 2020 at the age of 44.

Brunner was a country farmer from March 2002 to October 2019 and from 2003 a chamber councilor in Upper Austria. Chamber of Agriculture . From October 23, 2003 to January 30, 2020 she was a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament ( ÖVP ). Brunner was a member of the following committees: for general internal affairs; for economic matters; for women's affairs as well as in the immunity and incompatibility committee. In the state parliament session on January 30, 2020, Christian Kolarik succeeded her as a member of parliament.
