Johanna Bors

Johanna Bors (* 19th November 1949 in Vienna as Johanna Prochazka ) is an Austrian politician of the Greens . She has been a member of the Upper Austrian State Parliament since January 30, 2020 .

Life

After elementary school Johanna Bors attended a grammar school in Vienna, where she graduated in 1968 . Then she began a teaching degree for mathematics and sport, which she completed in 1973 as a Magistra. From 1974 to 1977 she taught mathematics and sport at the Bundesgymnasium / Bundesrealgymnasium (BG / BRG) in Gmunden . In 1977 she had a daughter, a son in 1981 and another daughter in 1982.

In 1985 she co-founded the Green Alternative in Gmunden, where she was parliamentary group chairwoman from 1997 to 2003 and city ​​councilor from 2003 . She has been a member of the Gmunden municipal council since 2015.

On January 30, 2020 she was in the XXVIII. Legislative term as Member of the Upper Austrian provincial parliament sworn in . She replaced Stefan Kaineder , who moved to the Stelzer regional government as a regional councilor . In the state parliament, she became a member of the petitions and legal rectification committee.
