Helena Kirchmayr

Helena Kirchmayr (born October 5, 1982 in Linz ) is an Upper Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and university employee. Kirchmayr has been a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament since 2010 .

Life

Helena Kirchmayr attended elementary school in Pucking and then the grammar school of the Kreuzschwestern Linz . After graduating from high school, she studied economics at the University of Linz and completed her studies with the academic degree Magister . She then worked at the Institute for International Management at the Johannes Kepler University Linz between 2006 and 2008 and has been working as an International Student Advisor in the international office of the University of Linz since 2008.

Kirchmayr is a member of the Young People's Party (JVP) and was regional chairwoman of the JVP Upper Austria until 2016 and was the federal deputy chairwoman of the JVP Austria until 2017. She became a councilor for the market town of Pucking in September 2009 and has been a member of the council since then. On March 4, 2010, she replaced Claudia Durchschlag in the Upper Austrian state parliament.

After the state elections in Upper Austria in 2015 , she was elected chairwoman of the ÖVP state parliament club Upper Austria on October 23, 2015, succeeding Thomas Stelzer in this role .
