David Schiessl

David Schießl (born December 25, 1972 in Braunau am Inn ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ) and technical employee. Schießl has been a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament since 2009 .

education and profession

After attending the elementary school in Burgkirchen from 1979 to 1983, Schießl switched to the secondary school in Mauerkirchen, which he finished in 1987. Between 1987 and 1988 he completed the polytechnic course in Mauerkirchen, after which he learned the profession of electrical installer between 1988 and 1991, completing the vocational school I in Gmunden .

During his apprenticeship, Schießl was employed at Expert Berschl in Mauerkirchen. He then worked as an electrician, electrician, electrician and senior fitter in various companies in Burgkirchen, Altheim, Braunau and Mauerkirchen. In 1993 he did his military service in the Schwarzenberg barracks. Schießl was most recently employed as a service technician and switchgear manufacturer in Mehrnbach between 1997 and 2002 , after which he was a partner in the company SWS Elektro Anlagen Bau from 2002 to 2003 and was responsible for the installation and Sales responsible. He also worked between 2003 and 2009 as a workshop and base manager in Braunau for HGA Haus und Gebäudeautomation GmbH.

politics

Schießl joined the FPÖ in 1994 and was elected local party chairman, parliamentary group chairman and local council of the FPÖ in Burgkirchen in 1997. Between 2000 and 2003 he was the community chairman in Burgkirchen, from 2003 to 2008 district chairman of the Freedom Workers and from 2003 to 2005 district party chairman of the FPÖ-Braunau. In 2005 (with re-election in 2009 and 2013) Schießl was elected FPÖ district party chairman, and on October 23, 2009, he was sworn in as a member of the state parliament. Schießl is the area spokesman for traffic, construction and spatial planning.

Schießl lives in Burgkirchen , is married and the father of 3 daughters.
