Ulrike Schwarz
Ulrike Schwarz (born March 23, 1958 in Linz ) is an Upper Austrian politician ( Greens ). She has been a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag since 2003 .
education and profession
Ulrike Schwarz attended elementary school in Rohrbach between 1964 and 1968 and then moved to the Bundesrealgymnasium Rohrbach until 1975, which she did not graduate. From 1975 to 1976, Schwarz graduated from the private trade school Dr. Gatti, in 1982 she passed her balance sheet accountant examination. In 1999, Schwarz also attended the basic psychosocial course at pro mente Upper Austria and the basic course at the Upper Austrian Journalism Academy .
Ulrike Schwarz worked in bookkeeping and payroll accounting between 1976 and 1982 and was a medical assistant for a general practitioner between 1983 and 1997. Afterwards she worked at the institute for addiction prevention of the association pro mente Upper Austria in Linz until 2002 and between 2002 and 2004 was project manager at EQUAL - integration training. Since 1990 she has also been working as a freelance trainer and speaker in the field of youth work, integration in leisure time and health promotion.
politics
Schwarz has been party chairman and councilor of the Greens in Berg bei Rohrbach since 1991 , at that time still as the LRB (Lebendiges-Rohrbach-Berg) citizens' list. On October 27, 2003, she succeeded Rudolf Anschober as a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament. Schwarz represents the Greens in the committees for economic affairs and EU affairs and is chairman of the committee for environmental affairs. Since February 1, 2007, Schwarz has also been the Greens' deputy chairman in the state parliament.
Awards
In October 2009, Schwarz, together with the Greens Gottfried Hirz and Maria Wageneder, was awarded the Austrian Big Brother Award for calling for legal internet blocks for child pornographic web content.
Private
Ulrike Schwarz has a son and a daughter.
