Anita Neubauer

Anita Neubauer (born August 2, 1967 in Wels , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian politician of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ). She has been a member of the Upper Austrian State Parliament since November 2017 .

Life

After elementary school, Anita Neubauer attended the Bundesrealgymnasium Traun and the Higher Education Institute for Tourism Professions (HLF) in Kleßheim near Salzburg , where she graduated in 1986 . From 2012 she attended the university course Management & Leadership at the University of Linz , which she completed in 2014 as a Master of Business Administration (MBA). After graduating from high school, she worked in various tourism and catering businesses until 1998, and has been in the Upper Austrian Provincial Service since 1998, most recently as a contract employee at the Office of the Upper Austrian Provincial Government in the Social Affairs and Health Department, Housing Promotion Department. From 2009 to 2011 she also served as a member of the supervisory board of Seniorenzentren Linz GmbH, and since 2015 she has been the deputy chairman of the supervisory board of Tabakfabrik Linz Entwicklungs- und Betriebsgesellschaft mbH.

Anita Neubauer has been representing the FPÖ in the municipal council of the city of Linz since the municipal council and mayoral elections in Upper Austria in 2009 , where she is a member of the committee for women, the environment, nature conservation and education.

Since November 9th 2017 she is in the XXVIII. Legislative period Member of the Upper Austrian Landtag, where she is a member of the Committee for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport. As a member of the state parliament, she succeeded Brigitte Povysil , who moved to the National Council .

Since June 2019 she has been a member of the Provincial Cultural Advisory Board of Upper Austria .
