The Upper Austrian Provincial Government is the highest administrative body in the Austrian state of Upper Austria . As primus inter pares, the governor is the chairman . Since April 6, 2017, this is Thomas Stelzer . He heads the state government of Stelzer and represents the state of Upper Austria externally.

Current members of the state government

The Upper Austrian provincial government was last elected by the Upper Austrian state parliament on October 23, 2015. It consists of nine members. Four of them are members of the ÖVP, three of the FPÖ and one each of the SPÖ and the GREEN. The state government is composed according to the proportional system . This means that all parties with a certain number of representatives in the state parliament are represented by at least one seat in the government.
