The list of provincial governments of Burgenland lists all provincial governments of the Austrian federal state of Burgenland . The area once belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary , which was obliged in the Treaty of Trianon in 1920 to cede what was then German West Hungary to the new Republic of Austria .
