State government Sylvester I
The provincial government Sylvester I under governor Hans Sylvester formed the Burgenland provincial government from the election of Sylvester as governor on February 22, 1934 to October 31, 1934. The provincial government was followed by the provincial government Sylvester II . The state government had not been democratically elected because after the outbreak of the civil war in 1934, the mandates of the state councils and members of the Socialist Party had expired by a regulation of the federal government on February 12, 1934. The members of the state government Sylvester I belonged to the Christian Social Party , which was incorporated into the Fatherland Front in 1933 .
During the term of office of the state government Sylvester I, Lorenz Karall replaced Alfred Walheim on May 29, 1934, as deputy governor or governor .
