Even Reinhold cushion ÖVP retired prematurely from office and handed over on February 17, 1972 his duties as governor-deputy to the in 1971 elected to the Regional Minister Francis Soronics (ÖVP). On February 21, 1972, Josef Wiesler succeeded him as regional councilor .
