The provincial government of Bögl under governor Hans Bögl (SPÖ) forms the Burgenland provincial government from the election by the Burgenland Landtag in the Xth legislative period on June 12, 1964 to the departure of Bögl from the provincial government on June 28, 1966. The provincial government of Bögl was followed by the provincial government Kery I after.

The Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) and the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) each provided three of the six members of the state government . After the SPÖ had achieved a relative majority in the 1964 state elections for the first time since 1945, it acquired the right to be the governor. Hans Bögl (SPÖ), most recently Deputy Governor, was elected Governor, the previous Governor Josef Lentsch (ÖVP) resigned from the provincial government. Deputy governor was the previous Provincial Councilor Reinhold Polster (ÖVP), whose function as Provincial Councilor Hans Tinhof took over. All other members of the government remained unchanged from the previous government.
