Karin Dollinger

Karin Dollinger (born April 4, 1969 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). She has been a member of the Salzburg state parliament since June 2018 .

Life

After elementary school and the new language grammar school of the Ursulines in Glasenbach near Salzburg, Karin Dollinger attended the new language high school in Salzburg- Nonntal from 1983 , where she graduated in 1987 . She then began a teaching degree for mathematics and geography / economics at the University of Salzburg , which she completed in 1993 as a Magistra (Mag. Rer. Nat.). At the same time, she completed a degree in geography and geoinformatics at the University of Salzburg as a Mag. Phil. In 2003 she began studying law at the University of Salzburg, which she completed in 2008 as a Mag. Iur. completed. After that, they began a doctoral program, in 2016 received his doctorate her to the doctor of law .

After a teaching internship at the Bundesrealgymnasium Salzburg in 1993/94 , she was GIS coordinator in the spatial planning department at the Office of the State Government of Salzburg from 1994 to 2008 and a lawyer in the legal services, trade and infrastructure department from 2008 to 2012. Since 2012 she has been active as a political advisor in the SPÖ state parliament club.

Karin Dollinger has been chairwoman of the SPÖ section Morzg - Gneis - Nonntal since 2012 , from 2015 to 2019 she was the SPÖ district women chairwoman in the city of Salzburg, since 2016 she has been a member of the state party executive of the SPÖ Salzburg and since 2017 deputy district chairwoman of the SPÖ city of Salzburg. From 2014 to 2018 she was a member of the Salzburg City Council. Since 2017 she has also been the deputy state chairwoman of the Association of Social Democratic Academics, Intellectuals and Artists (BSA) Salzburg.

On 13 June 2018 she was in the inaugural parliament session of the 16th legislative term as a Member of the Salzburg Parliament sworn in . In October 2018 she was elected as the successor to Ingrid Riezler-Kainzner as regional woman chairwoman of the SPÖ Salzburg. In September 2019 Sabine Gabath was elected as her successor as SPÖ women's chairwoman of the City of Salzburg district.
