The Puffball Islands (English for Bovistinseln ) are a group of scattered, small, low and mostly icy islands and cliff rocks before Fallières coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . They extend over a length of 16 km in a northeast-southwest direction. Its center is 37 km north-northeast of Cape Jeremy .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out the first measurements and naming during a visit in 1948. Their name is based on that of Mushroom Island 22 km northeast of this group.
