Josef Scheinast
Josef Scheinast (born August 17, 1960 in Vöcklabruck ) is an Austrian politician ( Greens ) and managing director. He has been a member of the Salzburg state parliament since 2013 .
biography
Scheinast attended grammar school and lived in Vöcklabruck until his Matura in 1978. He then moved to Salzburg, where he began studying to become a teacher at the University of Salzburg but did not graduate. He is now half-owner together with his wife and since 1991 sole managing director of the company " Die Wohnwerkstatt GmbH" , an eco-joinery and climate alliance company . Scheinast has been politically active in the Salzburg Green Economy since 2004, and has been its state spokesman since 2010. He has been involved in the Chamber of Commerce since 2005 and was chairman of the federal state committee of the green economy from 2008 to 2016. Scheinast is married and has a son and a daughter.
