Wolfgang Pfeifenberger

Wolfgang Pfeifenberger (born January 20, 1967 in Zederhaus ) is an Austrian politician of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). Since June 2018 he has been a member of the Salzburg State Parliament .

Life

After primary school in Zederhaus, Wolfgang Pfeifenberger attended secondary school in Sankt Michael im Lungau and from 1981 to 1983 the commercial school in Tamsweg . He then completed an apprenticeship in the book, art and music trade and worked as a bookseller in Tamsweg and Salzburg until 1988. After his military service in 1986, he founded his own bookstore in Tamsweg in 1988. In 1992/93 he completed an apprenticeship as a publisher at various publishing houses in Salzburg and Innsbruck , and in 1994 he founded the Wolfgang Pfeifenberger publishing house in Tamsweg.

Since 2008 he has been chairman of district offices Lungau of Commerce Salzburg, district chairman Lungau and member of the state management of the economy Federal Salzburg. After the state elections in Salzburg in 2018 , he was sworn in as a member of the Salzburg state parliament on June 13, 2018 in the constitutive session of the 16th legislative period .
