Stefanie Mösl (born March 23, 1985 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). She has been a member of the Salzburg state parliament since June 2018 .

Life

Stefanie Mösl attended the Bundesoberstufenrealgymnasium in Neumarkt am Wallersee , where she graduated in 2003 . She then began studying biotechnology at the Vienna University of Applied Sciences . From 2004 to 2006 she attended the Hotel Management College at the Salzburg Tourism Schools at Kleßheim Palace . In 2006 she began studying molecular biosciences at the University of Salzburg , which she completed with a bachelor's degree . This was followed by a Master's program of Molecular Biology and the University of Salzburg, which she in 2011 with a master's thesis on the subject of dependent pH-toxicity of the metals aluminum and copper in the green alga Micrasterias denticulata: Changes in ultrastructure and subcellular localization of the metals by means of the transmission electron microscope as Master of Arts (MA). Since completing her studies, she has been working in the food sector of the Red Bull Group.

Since 2014 she has been a member of the municipal council in Eugendorf , where her father was SPÖ vice mayor. In the state elections in Salzburg in 2018 , she ran for the SPÖ behind Walter Steidl in second place on the state list. On 13 June 2018 she was in the inaugural parliament session of the 16th legislative term as a Member of the Salzburg Parliament sworn in .

For the 2019 European elections , she was ranked eighth on the list of the SPÖ.
