Daniela Gutschi

Daniela Gutschi (born June 18, 1967 ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and managing director of the Salzburg relief organization . She has been a member of the Salzburg state parliament since 2013 and the ÖVP's club chairwoman since 2015.

education and profession

Gutschi attended elementary school in Itter (Tyrol) between 1973 and 1977 and then moved to the Bundesrealgymnasium in Wörgl in 1977 . From 1981, she continued her training at the higher federal college for economic women's professions in Innsbruck , where she passed her Matura in 1986 . Gutschi began studying at the University of Salzburg in 1987 , which she completed in 1992 with the academic degree Mag. Phil. completed. She then worked between 1992 and 2001 as city manager of the ÖVP Salzburg and was also self-employed as a political trainer between 1997 and 2008. In 2001 she became head of the family and social centers at the aid organization in the city of Salzburg and Flachgau. In 2008 she was promoted to managing director of the Salzburg relief organization .

Politics and functions

Gutschi was president of the Salzburg babysitting exchange from 2002 to 2004 and vice-chairman of the parents' association of the Schwaighofen / Eugendorf elementary school from 2001 to 2005. In 2012/2013 she acted as the deputy chairwoman of the Austria-wide, non-partisan platform "Operation for Austria" and as co-founder of the non-partisan platform "Salzburg for general military service, community service, disaster control and volunteer work". Since 2008 she has also been a member of the Salzburg women's media network. Gutschi is also involved as a mentor in a mentoring project run by media women. In 2013 she ran for the fifth place on the list of the ÖVP Salzburg in the 2013 state election and was subsequently sworn in as a member of the state parliament on June 19, 2013. She is the area spokesperson for social affairs and education in the ÖVP state parliament club. Since 2015 she has succeeded Gerlinde Rogatsch as the chairwoman of the Salzburg ÖVP state parliament club.

In February 2018, she became Asdin El Habbassi's successor on an interim basis in the Salzburg regional organization of the Austrian Workers' Union (ÖAAB). Karl Zallinger succeeded her in this role in June 2018 .

Private

Gutschi is married and has a daughter (* 1995) and a son (* 1998). She lives in Eugendorf . According to her own statements, the intellectual disability of her son led to a focus on the social area and to the conviction of the need for the inclusion of people with disabilities.
